Johnny Depp’s Mad Hatter looks like he could be a serious challenger to Heath Ledger Joker’s title as “cuckoo character wearing way too much makeup.”

Yep, that's Depp alright. His Mad Hatter reminds me of Gene Wilder's Willy Wonka gone psychedelic.
Helena Bonham Carter looks fantastic. But I'm loving the scenery shots I've seen even more, personally.
